Iran war news: Ram Mohan Naidu says over 4335 flights cancelled amid crisis:-

Civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu  informed the Lok Sabha of the number of flights cancelled by Indian carries and foreign carries due to the West Asia crisis and the number of Indian nationals who have returned during the 6th day of the parliamentary Budget Session. Naidu said that Indian carriers have cancelled a total of over 4335 flights. while the foreign carriers cancelled up to 1187 flights, according to ANI. “Indian carries have cancelled 4335 flights, foreign carriers have cancelled up to 1187 flights.

The first thing we have to remember is safety.If the airspace itself is closed, there is no need for U.S. to operate in this area,” he said. Furthermore, he informed that almost 2,197,80 people have travelled during this period of tensions in West Asia. “Our DGCA and Aviation department is in thorough communication with the authorities there,” he said.

Iran war news: Tehran calls US Gerald Ford ‘target’:-

Iran declared that logistical and service facilities supporting the United States aircraft carrier strike group led by the USS Gerald Ford would be considered legitimate military targets. Tehran warned that any infrastructure assisting the carrier’s operations could face attacks as tensions escalate, news agency ANI reported citing press TV.

According to Iranian reports, authorities stated that support centres providing services to the American carrier group deployed in Red sea are now viewed as part of the operational network of the vessel and the fore legitimate targets under wartime conditions.

Diplomatic talks with Iran can only take place if Tehran halts its attacks, Qatar’s foreign ministry spokesman said, as the country continues its missile and drone strikes across gulf states. Doha said meaningful negotiations would not be possible while such attacks persist and called for an immediate halt to the escalation.

If they stop the attacks, then we can find a way out with diplomacy. but as long as our countries are being attacks, this is not the time to establish committees, it’s the time to take a very principled position protecting us immediately, Qatar’s foreign ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari said

First non-Iran tanker transits Hormuz with transponder on since war started, reports Marine Traffic.This came as Iran  said the strait of Hormuz would not be accessible to and country seeking to use the strategic waterway to carry out attacks on Iran.

The Israeli military has denied reports that it is running out of missile interceptors more than two weeks into the war with Iran, saying it had “prepared for prolonged combat.” Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani, a military spokesman, told reporters on Monday that Iran was firing far fewer missiles at Israel than the military had contended with at other times in the past two years of regional wars.

He added that he was not aware of any “urgent problem” with the stock of interceptors, adding that Israel had prepared for a “larger threat”.Karoline Leavitt, the While House press secretary, said on Monday that President Trump’s upcoming trip to China later this month may be delayed because of the war against Iran.

On Sunday, Trump threatened in an interview that he may delay the meeting as he called on China and other nations to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
